Flare Audio Isolate Earplugs - Any Good??

Postby e_mcg » Thu Mar 16, 2017 4:21 am

I happened across an ad for Flare Audio's Isolate earplugs a few days ago and got all excited about their claim to "shut off your ears." From all the reviews I've read, they don't make you completely "deaf," but make it so that you hear through bone conduction only and the world is at a lower volume. They've got rave reviews from people using them at concerts or on motorcycles, but I haven't been able to find any reviews on them by people with misophonia.

Has anyone tried them out? Do they help block out trigger noises or make them more manageable?

I feel like they're a much better alternative to blasting music through my earbuds 24/7 (they even have a model designed to be worn to while sleeping!) and they're reasonably priced enough that they might be worth a go even if they're not perfect, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high if they don't work well for miso...
